Notice: Courtyard Permanent Canopy Project – Preparatory Work

Dear Members,

In preparation for the construction of the Permanent Canopy at the Courtyard, a Soil Investigation needs to be conducted on the site. This will be carried out from Monday, 17 March – Thursday, 20 March 2025.

During this period, the Courtyard will be closed and out of bounds to all members and guests:

Closure: Monday, 17 March 2025, 0800hrs – Friday, 21 March 2025, 0859hrs. (to facilitate removal of heavy machinery)
Reopen: Friday, 21 March 2025, 0900hrs.

For access to/from SCC Clubhouse/changing rooms/ F&B outlets to Padang Field, Tennis Courts 1 and 2, Multi-Purpose Court (MPC) and Cricket Nets:

Please use the walkway between the Tennis Courts and MPC to the side of the Courtyards.
From the side, there are stairs leading down to the Men’s Changing Room, and 1852 – The Heritage Bar. (see route in blue)
From the side, there are also stairs leading up to The Oval & Verandah, the Ladies’ Changing Room and Visitors Changing Room (via walkway outside Main Lounge windows) and other parts of the Clubhouse. (see route in orange)

For access to/from SCC Clubhouse to the Bowling Green and side entry to Tennis Court 1:

Please use the staircase at the end of the Deli / in front of the Green Room.
Please note that access to the Bowling Green and side entry to Tennis Court 1 will be temporarily closed on Monday, 17 March 2025 from 0930hrs to 1130hrs and on Friday, 21 March 2025 from 0700hrs to 0859hrs. (to facilitate movement of heavy machinery)

During the Soil Investigation works and Courtyard closure, members and guests are invited to patronise our other F&B outlets; dress code rules still apply.
