Dear Members,
Please note that from Monday, 3 June 2024, The Oval Restaurant & Kitchen will be fully closed for renovation works (as approved at the AGM on 30 April 2024) and will remain closed until end-August; the exact reopening day will be confirmed at a later date.
During this period only the Padang Kitchen will be in operation, which will limit the food options we can offer. As such, kindly take note of the following:
Available F&B services:

- A snack menu will be available from 11am daily for Main Lounge, Deli Verandah and Men’s Bar; for Stumps it will be available from 5pm for Monday to Thursday, and from 11am for Friday to Sunday.
- At the Main Lounge, the following will also be available as normal:
- Weekday Carvery Lunch (Monday to Friday, 12pm – 2.30pm)
- Oyster & Sashimi Fridays (Every Friday, from 6.30pm onwards)
- There will be no changes to the operation hours of the abovementioned outlets.

- The Oval Restaurant menu will not be available. Take-away and delivery service will also not be available.
- Afternoon Tea will not be available in all operating outlets.
- In addition to The Oval & Verandah, The Courtyard and Victoria Room will also be closed.
- No food will be available before 11am; beverage services will be available from each outlet’s respective opening times.
- For the Main Lounge, the bye-law for dress code will be relaxed on weekends and public holidays prior to 7pm; during the dress code relaxation period the following are permitted:
- Gentlemen: Bermudas, jeans, tee-shirt with sleeves and covered shoes are permitted
- Ladies: In conformity
- At all times, sweaty sports gear is not permitted at Main Lounge, Men’s Bar and Stumps & Terrace. Please proceed to Deli Verandah instead.
- Due to the disruption in operations, the quarterly Minimum Spend Levy (MSL) will be extended from 3 to 6 months.
We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We will closely monitor the situation over the next few weeks and will advise should there be any changes to the above.
