COVID-19 news update – 3 April 2020
We are aware of news reports published today stating that the Singapore Cricket Club is a cluster with six cases.
Until the latest news reports, the Club was only aware of two cases – one that we announced on 20 March 2020, and another concerning a member who did not visit the Club for more than 14 days prior to his diagnosis. For this reason, we were also told by the Ministry of Health (“MOH”) that there was no need to inform Members and staff about this particular case.
We understand that many Members are concerned but we would like to inform everyone that we are currently seeking further information from MOH about the other 4 cases. Until the latest news reports earlier today, the Club had been completely unaware of the existence of the other 4 cases.
The Club will inform the Membership once we have more information.
Thank you for your patience and once we have more information from MOH, we will be sending you another communication soon.
