Important Notice re SCC Night Race – Road Closures / Carpark Access & Closure / Entry Procedure / F&B & Sports Ops & More
Dear Members,
As we draw closer to the SCC Night Race and the Singapore Formula One Grand Prix, there will be set-up and tear-down works both before and after the race weekend.
Please refer to the notice below for details about the following:
- Period of Road Closures and No Vehicular Access to SCC Clubhouse
- SCC Carpark limited access and full closure dates
- Pedestrian access to Clubhouse
- Changes to operating hours at Club F&B outlets and Sports facilities

ROAD CLOSURES – BEFORE/ AFTER RACE WEEKEND
There will be road closures and no vehicular access to the SCC Clubhouse for the 2025 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix, from 0000hrs on Wednesday, 1 October (two days before the race) until Tuesday, 7 October 2025 at 0530hrs (two days after the race).
SCC CARPARK ACCESS AND CLOSURE – BEFORE / AFTER RACE WEEKEND
- Sections of the SCC carpark (i.e. areas below Gilmour Terrace and STUMPS Terrace) will be partially closed from Tuesday, 23 September, 10.00pm, for set-up. Additionally, heavy traffic by way of heavy goods vehicles making deliveries to the Club can be expected on 26, 29 and 30 September. Hence, there will be limited carpark lots during this period of 23 – 30 September.
- Full closure of the carpark will take effect on Tuesday, 30 September at 2330hrs.
- Limited carpark lots will be reopened on Tuesday, 7 October, at 0900hrs.
- The carpark will be fully operational from Friday, 10 October, onwards.
CLUB ENTRY PROCEDURE – BEFORE / DURING RACE WEEKEND
- From 1 – 2 October:
- Pedestrian access will be available to all Members/ guests visiting the Club via Gate 4 located near the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM).
- From 3 – 5 October:
- As the Singapore Cricket Club is located within the circuit park, access to the Club will only be permitted for Members and guests with the SCC Night Race ticket and the SCC membership card.
- The Club may be accessed via Gate 4. Members may download the circuit map from the SGP website for details and reference.
- Members without the SCC Night Race ticket and membership card will not be permitted entry into the Club at all times, including after the race timing.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION – DURING RACE WEEKEND
- Taxis may call at the following taxi stands nearest to Gate 4:
- Income @ Raffles at Collyer Quay (E32)
- MYP Centre at Battery Road (E13)
- Private Hire Car services can drop off/ pick up passengers at the following points nearest to Gate 4:
- One Raffles Place (driveway)
- UOB Plaza (driveway)
- Bus stop outside OUE Bayfront (operational from 7pm to 1am from Friday to Sunday)
CLUB OPERATING HOURS – BEFORE/ AFTER RACE WEEKEND
F&B OUTLET OPERATIONS
- The following F&B outlets will be closed from Wednesday, 1 October to Monday, 6 October, and reopen on Tuesday, 7 October:
- The Deli
- The Padang Restaurant
- Stumps Terrace
- The Club will resume normal operations at the following F&B outlets from Monday, 6 October, 3pm onwards:
- The Oval & Verandah
- Main Lounge
- Men’s Bar
- STUMPS (from 5pm)
- Victoria Room will resume normal operations from Tuesday, 7 October.
SPORTS FACILITIES OPERATIONS
- Sports Facilities will be closed on the following dates:
- Padang remains closed until early-November.
Strictly NO ACCESS to Clubhouse from Padang field and vice versa, due to pre-event construction and tear-down of the 2025 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix.- Heavy traffic by way of heavy goods vehicles and other associated machineries can be expected onto and out of the Padang field from St Andrews Road and Connaught Drive respectively.
- Members attempting to access the Padang field from St Andrews Road, Connaught Drive and the Clubhouse during this closure period do so in express disregard to the foregoing Club Management directive and in so doing at his and her own risk.
- The Club Management will not be liable for any damage or personal injury sustained in direct breach of this directive.
- Bowling Green, Tennis Courts, Multi-Purpose Court and Cricket Nets and will be out of bounds until further notice; strictly no access at all times.
- The Gym will be closed from 3 – 5 October.
- Only one Squash Court will be available on 2 October; both Squash Courts will then be closed from 3 – 5 October. One squash court will reopen on 6 October; both Squash Courts will then be opened from 7 October.
- Billiard tables will be closed from 1 – 6 October.
- The Green Room will be closed from 2 – 6 October.
- Padang remains closed until early-November.
